Atlantic Gastroenterology Associates has opened a new center offering the latest resources and technology for celiac disease diagnoses.
Dr. Barry Kaufman says that the center is meant to address widespread under-diagnoses of the disease. He even believes that some people are "partially celiac" and is setting out to prove it. Resources include a pathology lab to test the upper intestine, and breath tests which test what nutrients someone is absorbing.
