Check it out! A new study from Canada shows that adolescents with celiac disease are at a high risk for weak bones and vitamin deficiency.
The study showed that even after following a gluten free diet for one year, one-third of the children still had a vitamin K deficiency and 25% still had a vitamin D deficiency.
The doctors recommend vitamin supplements to help keep the counts at normal levels.
